This Industry Update (Notice) informs all relevant parties including:

• Northern Territory Electricity Market (NTEM) participants
• NT Utilities Commission
• Persons who identify themselves to NT Electricity System Market Operator (NTESMO) as interested in the Power System Controller (Consulted Persons) that NTESMO is conducting a consultation (Consultation) on the amendments to the Secure Systems Guideline (SSG).

The industry update is being published to inform industry of the following:

• The proposed schedule for consultation of Power System Control and Market Operations matters on a thematic basis for the forthcoming two (2) year period on a seasonal basis in a coordinated manner.
• The rationale for establishment of a rolling 2-year consultation plan and approach.
• The consultation process to follow the prescriptions regarding the consultation of rules as per the NER (NT) version 125, Chapter 8.9.

Matters under consultation

There are no specific matters under consultation identified for this notification, however, Industry Participants and Interested Parties are invited to submit any comments or proposed amendments to the publication of the schedule with supporting rationale where an alternative is proposed.

Written feedback

NTESMO invites written feedback regarding any proposed amendments to the schedule and will take this into consideration for further update of the plan.
